I seem to remember having accessed it either through YouTube or Vimeo at some point but all of the old links I have found link to a download on the vidder’s personal website, which no longer exists.

As I was taking the second bite of my dinner, the Stroppy One turned to me and said that it had way more garlic than usual. He was right, because as he was saying that, I noticed my mouth and lips were burning and felt like welts were rising. I got a refund from DoorDash, and gave the Madwoman in the Attic the second spring roll. Sooooo apparently I'm even more sensitive to garlic than I thought, and I'm really mad about it.

I wonder if that's why there's more time between concert dates; I'd assumed it was because the band finally learned they need to rest between shows, but maybe not. The band has been hinting on social media that these concerts are "so much more than just playing The Black Parade". Needless to say, the fandom has collectively been losing our minds.

Reccer's Notes: Yes, it's MCD, but hear me out. Dossier creates an AU story of Sheppard as Laurence of Arabia, eventually saving Pegasus from the Wraith. Like Laurence, he dies in a motor vehicle accident, which happens right at the start so you know what you're in for. The structure works well - a 3rd person account of his death, then the story itself from the expedition's arrival in Atlantis, told in John's first person POV like T. E. Laurence's "Seven Pillars of Wisdom", then a last 3rd person section about his death and the birth of his legend. Sheppard doesn't mercy-kill Sumner in this - he remains ostracised and mistrusted by the mainstream military and carves out a role for himself by "going native" and working together with Teyla and the Athosians, and eventually other Pegasus peoples, finally masterminding an alliance that destroys the Wraith, but being wounded himself and losing 20 or so years from a Wraith feeding. As with Laurence, he's ultimately tormented by the deaths he feels responsible for along the way, especially the massive genocide of the Wraith, and he dies on Earth, alone and largely unrecognised. But in Pegasus, it's a very different story. Not a comfort read, but a powerful and well-told story that fits Sheppard's character.

Jul. 7th, 2025 06:46 pmsaffronic in sailormoonHi! Name's Saffron, but I go by Saff. Happy I found a wee community to peek into. I feel like I'm joining insanely late into the fandom, despite having been a fan since I was a toddler in the 90s.
My introduction to Sailor Moon was when the DiC version aired on TV for a while and I accidentally ran into a few episodes. In fact, the one were Nephrite meets his end in Naru's arms was the first episode, and I understood nothing besides him having been someone's boyfriend (I was like...4? 5?). I thought for the longest time that Naru was Sailor Jupiter, and that the Senshi had to defeat their boyfriends to get to the main villain. Mind you, I had not watched all the episodes, just parts of an episode here and there, and then never again until I was 12. By then I was living in Brazil and watching the Cartoon Network dub from there (which did not hide the fact that Fish Eye was a dude, and that also left a lasting impression on me).
Long story short, Sailor Moon has always been present in my life, I have loved it since wee, but I never actively participated in the fandom until now (and I have rewatched 3/5 of the classic series, gone to see the Super Live in March and started to RP in a Magical Girl MUSH as Zoisite).
I started to post some stuff on my side tumblr like sketches, and tried my hand on a dark fic that I need to revisit. Now I'm going back to LJ and older communities for fanfics and hidden gems I never got to read. Also have been collecting some doujinshi when I can find any that are specifically Shitennou or Amazon Trio related.
Yes, I have a soft spot for the villains. It's hard for me not to, especially finding out the implied backstory the Senshi had with Endymion's knights (I guess toddler me wasn't that off the mark lol). And that being (in my opinion) confirmed with the PC Engine game. I just love the tragedy of it all.
Okay, gonna go ahead and post two of the drawings I did recently.

I think you guys can guess what ships I have. Honestly I ship everyone with everyone. Hard not to, Sailor Moon seems to lend itself to that.
